Remarks Complete sequence from Genomic. Strain="NIH2624". UNCORRECT annotation (SwissProt:NCBI): START codon is predicted too late and very long 3' end (which has no homology to any other protein). Softberry prediction gives an earlier start codon that is more appropriate (aligns well with CfuHalPrx, for instance) and a STOP codon that fits quite well with the other HalPrx proteins. We have hence 5 exons in total, with START at position 877416 (scaffold_14, NCBI: CH476607) and STOP at position 876389.
